The business around the Western medicine industry has grown so much all over the world. Eventhough the vitamin supplements doesn’t have any benefits to adults, it gets marketed all over the world. This industry spends alot on marketing, ironically a medicines’ value should be from its effects not by gimmicks. The system around it became too big that stopping it or funding an alternate to it, is out of the question. Do we know the regulations are air tight? Do we spend enough time to understand the negative stories about it? This game never ends. Although, alternate of prevention and being healthy is simple enough by proper exercise and lifestyle changes (in case of vitamin tablets)
The system of medicine and the industry around is getting bigger and it is almost impossible to get an
undamaged solution off of it.
Atleast the life saving medicines manufacturers shouldn’t be privately owned companies. Alternatively Government funded industries only should have the licenses. In this way, fair chance will be given to all the people not only the rich. The key to a healthier society must be controlled by people. In the current system we pay higher for the same combinations of drugs and same grams of chemicals in accordance with the brands. We end up paying more according to our doctor’s prescription or more marketing it has. “The poorer you are the lesser your life value becomes” is the motto of the industry.
